Our National Leaders
Meet the dedicated leaders of The Fraternal Brotherhood of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc.
Each brother brings unique skills and passion to foster brotherhood and excellence within our fraternity.

National President
michael dabney
Michael Dabney, aka “Prodigy,” became a member of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc. in the Spring of 2017 as the sole member to cross on his line. Since joining the Brotherhood, he has served in several leadership capacities, including Chair of the National Auxiliaries Commission and Chair of the National Information Technology Committee. Brother Dabney has been actively involved in community service throughout the Hampton Roads area, partnering with fellow brothers on initiatives including youth mentoring, outreach to the homeless, toy and coat drives, and various volunteer efforts. His commitment to service, leadership, and the advancement of the Brotherhood has continued throughout his Gamma journey.
He currently serves as the National President of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc., where he remains dedicated to strengthening the Brotherhood and advancing its mission of service, leadership, and excellence.

1st National Vice President
Demetrious jordan
Demetrious Jordan, aka “Logic,” became a member of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc. in the Spring of 2024 as a member of the “Two of a Kind” line. He currently serves as Membership Chairman for the Hampton Roads Chapter and has held leadership roles that support membership development, mentorship, and the continued growth of the Brotherhood. A retired U.S. Army veteran with more than 23 years of service, Brother Jordan brings extensive experience in leadership, mentoring, organizational development, and team building. He has served as Dean of Induction for both “The Blueprint” and “The Foundation” lines in 2025 and remains actively involved with the Mentorship, Events and Fundraising, Community Outreach, and Information Technology committees. Brother Jordan is committed to developing and mentoring new brothers, strengthening the Brotherhood, and advancing initiatives that positively impact the community. He currently serves as National 1st Vice President and continues to champion a culture of excellence, accountability, service, and servant leadership throughout Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc.

2nd National Vice President
hiawatha hughes
Hiawatha Tony Hughes III, aka “The Achiever,” is a native of Hampton, Virginia, and currently resides in Virginia Beach. He is a graduate of Hampton High School and Norfolk State University, where he earned degrees in Food Science and Nutrition and Business Management. He is married, a father of four children and has four grandchildren. Brother Hughes has built an extensive career in corporate management, including leadership roles with Pepsi-Cola, Yum Brands, USA Management, technology, and the financial and food management industries. He has also dedicated many years to community service through coaching and youth development, including Recreation and Pop Warner Football, AAU Track and Field, and Recreation and AAU Basketball. He has additionally served for many years in the Security Ministry at Calvary Revival Church. Brother Hughes became a member of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc. in April 2018 as a member of the “Phoenix Rising” line. Since joining the Brotherhood, he has served in numerous leadership positions, including Hampton Roads Chapter Parliamentarian, Hampton Roads Chapter Membership Chair, National Membership Chairman, and National Parliamentarian. He has also served as Assistant Dean of Induction for two lines and Dean of Induction for four lines. He currently serves as National 2nd Vice President, continuing a longstanding commitment to leadership, service, membership development, and the preservation of Gamma Epsilon Theta’s traditions and values. National Secretary
robert Berkley
Robert Berkley, aka “The Splendid One,” is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He is married, the father of four adult children, and the proud grandfather of three grandchildren. Brother Berkley is a retired U.S. Navy veteran with 21 years of service and went on to serve an additional 24 years with the federal government. His extensive professional and military experience has contributed to his commitment to leadership, service, and the continued success of the Brotherhood. Brother Berkley became a member of the Fraternal Brotherhood of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc. in the Fall of 2018. He currently serves as both National Secretary and Hampton Roads Chapter Secretary, where he supports the organization through effective administration, communication, and organizational leadership.

National Treasurer
michael borum
Michael Borum, aka “Mum,” is a native of Hampton, Virginia. He is married, the father of three adult children, and the proud grandfather of five grandchildren. He attended Hampton City Public Schools and Hampton Institute, where he studied Architecture. Brother Borum has worked in the marine engineering design field for more than 45 years. Throughout his career and personal life, he has remained active in his community, church, and youth sports, including coaching and mentoring young people. Brother Borum became a member of the Fraternal Brotherhood of Gamma Epsilon Theta in the Spring of 1978 while attending Hampton Institute and has proudly served the Brotherhood for more than 48 years. During his distinguished tenure, he served as National President for 24 years and as Chair of the National History and Archives Committee.
He currently serves as National Treasurer, bringing decades of organizational knowledge, leadership, and dedication to the continued growth and preservation of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc. Hail to the Blue and Green!

National Parliamentarian
burnell Manners
Burnell Manners, aka “Bullseye,” was born and raised in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He graduated from high school in 2000 and subsequently attended the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School and Saint Louis University. Brother Manners currently works in project management and resides in Virginia. He is married and the proud father of three children. He became a member of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc. in 2024 as a member of the “Renaissance Kings” line. Since joining the Brotherhood, Brother Manners has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and the development of new members. He has served as Assistant Dean of Induction for two terms alongside Brother “Logic” and has supported the induction of both “The Blueprint” and “The Foundation” lines. He currently serves as National Parliamentarian, where he contributes his leadership and organizational experience to the effective governance and continued advancement of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc.

National Sergeant-at-Arms
keil rumble
Keil Rumble, aka “Trendsetter,” became a member of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc. in the Fall of 2024 as a member of the distinguished “Renaissance Kings” line. He currently serves as Paraphernalia Chairman for the Hampton Roads Chapter, where he works to preserve and promote the traditions, image, and identity of the Brotherhood.
A retired United States Army veteran, Brother Rumble brings more than 10 years of leadership, mentoring, and organizational experience to Gamma Epsilon Theta. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to developing future leaders, serving as Dean of Induction for the Spring 2026 “Ground Breakaz” line and as Assistant Dean of Induction for the Spring 2025 “The Blueprint” line and Fall 2025 “The Foundation” line. Brother Rumble is also actively involved with the Mentorship, Events and Fundraising, Community Outreach, and Information Technology committees. Through these roles, he continues to support the Brotherhood while making a positive impact in the community.
He currently serves as National Sergeant-at-Arms and remains committed to mentoring youth, strengthening the Brotherhood, and advancing a culture of excellence, accountability, service, and servant leadership while honoring the values, traditions, and legacy of Gamma Epsilon Theta, Inc.
